Daren, Clive, Tim and Lew were brilliant from start to finish. I'd had many roofers round in the past, to try to identify why my roof has been intermittently leaking around the chimney area (for years) and none of them could work it out. Element were a cut above. They thoroughly investigated the roof, which meant peeling back the layers for a close inspection. They found that there were quite a few bricks missing on the chimney stack, below the roof line, which meant there was a large vulnerable gap that rain water had accessed; and the flashing had quite a few flaws. They bricked up the big gaps and reinforced the flashing. The team were very pleasant to have around and were so polite. These guys really know their stuff. Knowledgeable and very trustworthy. Honestly I cannot recommend them enough. I have just noticed that they have cleaned out my gutters (no charge), which were very mucky.. so an extra thanks for that! The pricing was reasonable. Half of the cost was the scaffolding, which I was pleased that they use. Daren and Clive, quite rightly, put their workers safety first. We recently applied for equity release to raise money on our Victorian home. But we had a shock when we were told that no equity release would be possible because the roof had been treated with spray foam. In response we contacted innumerable surveyors, spray foam removal “experts”, and roofing companies. The solutions and advice we received were very confusing, inconsistent and contradictory.
